Losing weight and improving my overall health since I started working out with Wildfire Fitness is a tremendous accomplishment for me.

What is your motivation to stay in shape? Before starting the workout with Wildfire fitness, I was bordering 300 pounds and according to my doctor my cholesterol and blood pressure was “way too high”. I’ve since lost over 65 pounds and dropped my numbers to a normal level. I’m motivated to continuing down the road of a healthier lifestyle by eating better and working out on a regular basis.

What is your greatest challenge to staying in shape? At times, it’s hard to stay focused and look long term. Plateaus in my weight loss and daily distractions can deter me from working out or making the right food choices.

What is the key to your success? Motivation from friends, family and my fitness trainers.

What have you liked about training with your Wildfire Fitness trainer and how has it affected your life? I enjoy the positive attitude and creative workout routines. When the workouts are fun it’s easier to stay motivated and it makes each session seem more like a game and less like a workout session.

What advice do you give others about fitness? Get moving! Before I started working out, I didn’t want to work out because I didn’t think I could do some of the exercises or thought I had too much weight to lose. Once you get going and set your mind to it, it’s amazing how quickly you can change.
